Payment of a flat fee does not, by itself, create an attorney–client relationship or obligate Cathcart Estate Planning LLC to provide legal services unless and until a written engagement agreement has been executed by both the client and the firm. Flat fees apply only to the specific scope of services described in the engagement agreement.
